A lot of us get screw up in churches, temples and mosques with some really nice people and some not so nice people. Some people in those places genuinely cared about us. Some people in those places only cared about themselves. We got hurt and we got helped. We have to go back in that graveyard, do the digging that we need to do to find the best of that past, get the hell out of that graveyard and create a spiritual and/or existential map for ourselves that works in the most authentic congruent way in our lives. |
